My "Self Portrait" is of me during a normal, casual day. I tried using a full range of values, especially for my hair and my eyes. I really tried capture small details and make it look like the picture is 3D. I struggle with drawing ears, so I decided I would make my hair cover them. My goal wasn't to make it look like me, but for me to be proud of my work. Overall I think this piece turned out very well and I am very happy with the turnout. Next time I would like to focus on making my eyebrows, hair, and eyelashes look like actual strands of hair.
