This piece is a composition practice and is the first piece we have done in class. My work for my 3 Cups Drawing is of a paint bottle, a small can of paint, and a pitcher. I tried to use a little bit of shading in the time limit I had, but I really wanted to get the overall shape of the objects I was drawing. My goal for the 3 Cups Drawing was to get the basic shape of the objects and try to add some detail in the short time limit. I learned that it is very important to start lightly and you can always make it darker later. Since two of my cups were taller I decided to make my paper go horizontal. I also made my paint bottle and the pitcher higher up on the paper to show that they are further away.
